Review of the Huggies Ultimate Nappy Pants:

For each of the nappies in this review, both Amanda and Fi trialled them with their sons (for their profiles and an idea of how the nappies sat with each child, read Amanda’s Profile HERE and Fi’s Profile HERE). We trialled the Toddler Nappy Pants (9-14kg) nappies for this review.

How does it fit?

The Huggies Ultimate Nappy Pants fit on similar to a swim nappy. The top sides wrapped around Starfish’s body and sat snuggly around his legs. With the thick bands around the top of the legs, the Nappy Pants sit more firmly around Starfish and act as a great overnight nappy.

How long does it last?

The Huggies Ultimate Nappy Pants have a thick lining and lasted overnight and during the day, especially during Starfish’s heaviest soiling period (mid morning).

Is it good during the daytime and overnight?

For us, these Nappy Pants worked for both periods of time, although I do like them more as an option for an overnight “PJ” nappy (as it seems to fit nicer than regular nappies).

What is the value like? Is it worth the cost?

These Nappy Pants compare with some of the regular nappies within this review. As an excellent quality nappy with fantastic inner lining, and a great option for overnight, I think these nappy pants are definitely worth the money.

Is it easy to put on and take off?

Although the were nappies that were more difficult to take off, hubby and I still found it a bit hard sometimes to put the straps on (as with swim nappies). Due to their long thin strips on the sides, we found sometimes the nappy didn’t stay stuck properly when we first put it on and needed readjusting.

Are they easy to dispose of?

With the thicker sides/tabs of the nappy pants, it was easier to roll up the nappy over itself to contain the contents and dispose of it in a bin or bag.

Summary of the Huggies Ultimate Nappy Pants:

The Huggies Ultimate Nappy Pants was our first experience of using nappy pants, and we loved how reliable they were for Starfish overnight. I thought they sat perfectly snug around him to hold in any contents overnight and didn’t leave any marks or aggravate his skin. Although I must admit, putting him in nappy pants reminds me he is growing up too quickly (Side note!).
